Venerando Agner is a member of the Congregation of the Mission and has been a part of St. Vincent Seminary since 1977. He was first assigned as the Spiritual Director of St. Vincent’s Seminary in Bulacan from 1977-1978. After that, he became a professor at San Carlos Major Seminary in Cebu from 1978 until 1979. In that same year, he entered the St. Vincent’s Seminary in Quezon City as Director of Theology Students and a year later, he became the Spiritual Director of Theology Students for three years. From 1983 until 1990, he served as the Director of CM Novices at Vincentian Hills Seminary in Angono and at St. Vincent’s Seminary in Quezon City. For seven years, he served as professor and as Spiritual Director/Rector at St. Vincent’s Seminary in Quezon City from 1992 until 1999. In 2000, he entered the De Paul House as Professor and Superior/Rector until 2003. The following year, he became the Superior/Rector of St. Vincent’s Seminary until 2006. Currently, he is a professor at St. Vincent’s Seminary and St. Vincent School of Theology. He also serves as the present Director of the Daughters of Charity.
