Sr. Ma. Consolata Manding has been involved in a lot of pastoral work in media/communication and management since 1974. Currently, she is a professor of Graduate Courses at Media Literacy Education and at St. Vincent School of Theology. She is also the Directress of Paulines Institute of Communication in Asia (PICA) and member of the Board of Trustees of Philippine Association of Communication Educators (PACE). She is a member of the Board of Directors of different organizations such as the Catholic Initiative for Enlightened Movie Appreciation (CINEMA), International Movement of Development Managers (IMDM) and the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Office of Women where she produces weekly movie assessments and reviews. She is also the associate editor and writer for Paulines Magazine and is involved in SIGNIS (World Catholic Association for Communication). She is a member of the Asian Media and Information Communication Center (AMIC) and the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE), USA. She has also been involved in the UCIP (International Catholic Organization for the Press). Aside from being active in different organizations, she is also a resource person for organizational planning strategy and a management consultant.
