Marcelo Manimtim presently works for the Congregation of the Mission, serving as Director of Centre International de Formation (CIF) based at the Motherhouse in Paris since 2009. Specializing in philosophy and church history, he has taught at St. Vincent Seminary in Bulacan from 1976-1977, San Carlos Major Seminary in Cebu in 1980-1981, Vincentian Hills Seminary in Rizal in 1981-1988 and at Holy Name of Mary Seminary in Solomon Islands in 1993-2001. He has been a part of the faculty of St. Vincent Seminary in Quezon City from 2001-2004 and at St. Vincent School of Theology from 2001-2008. Aside from being a devoted professor, he also served as a Prefect of Discipline and Vice-Rector of St. Vincent Seminary in Valenzuela, Bulacan since 1976-1977. He also acted as the Spiritual Director (1981-1984) and Rector (1984-1988) of the Vincentian Hills Seminary. In 1993-2001, he served as Rector and Dean of Studies of Holy Name of Mary Seminary in Solomon Islands. He has been a Rector of St. Vincent’s School of Theology from 2001-2004, then became a Rector and Superior of St. Vincent Seminary from 2002-2004. Aside from his administrative experience in schools, he was also the Chairman of the Commission on Formation, Philippine Province from 1984-1986. He also served as the Provincial Superior of the Congregation of the Mission in the Philippines in 2004-2007. He was part of the Adamson-Ozanam Educational Foundation Inc as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees in 2004-2007 and as Member of the Board of Trustees in 2007.
