Prof. Roger Burggraeve
We are inviting everyone to come to SVST for a very special lecture. Prof. Em. Roger Burggraeve, a professor of Moral Theology and renowned Levinas scholar at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies of the Katholieke Universiteit Lueven in Belgium will be giving a talk on the topic:

“PEOPLE OF COMPASSION. A reflective in-depth reading of the Good Samaritan narrative.”

In this lecture, the aim of the speaker is to discover the idea of ‘mercy’ as human condition & divine ensoulment using the ideas of Emmanuel Levinas as the philosophical guide.
