Peter Solis’ academic and pastoral assignments started in Taiwan in 1994. He first taught Chinese Language Studies at Fu Jen University in Taiwan from 1994-1996. He then served as pastor of St. John Gabriel Perboyre Parish in 1996 until 1999. Afterwards, he transferred to St. Vincent Parish/St. Mary’s Parish in Taiwan to also serve as a pastor from 1999 to 2003. Within that same year, he was appointed as Provincial Council Member of the Congregation of the Mission (CM) Chinese Province . In 2006, he entered the Vincentian Hills Seminary (Angono, Rizal) as Novice Director of the Internal Seminary ( Chinese Province ) and in 2007 until 2009; he became the Superior/Novice Director. He then entered the De Paul House in Quezon City as the Director of Formation. Currently, he is a professor and Director of Recruitment and Admissions at St. Vincent School of Theology. He is also involved in the formation of diocesan seminarians being the Director for Spiritual-Pastoral Formation Year (SPFY) in Seminario San Juan Gabriel ( Cavite , City). He also serves as Chairman for the Commission on Initial Formation of the CM Province as well as Coordinator for Vincentian Family, Philippines.
